What are your sexual limitations in fiction? I know I posted something similar earlier...I think I asked what were your fetishes. But what can make you stop reading an erotic romance?

Personally, there's not much that surprises me, but the one thing I don't like is fiction where the woman gets humiliated soley for the pleasure of her so-called lover (except when Anne Rice does it! LOL). 9 times out of 10, this really  annoys me. There's also the usual list of things nobody enjoys to read about like insertion with strange objects, incest, and things like that.

On the other end of the spectrum (things you like). One thing that constantly amazes me is how some authors are so skilled, you can read a scene that, in the hands of a less talented author, would really piss you off. LOL! Anne Rice is an author like that. She makes the most bizarre things seem sensual. I've read her entire Sleepy Beauty series and I loved every page. Another author, who's actually my favorite erotic romance author, is Morgan Hawke (www.darkerotica.net)  She crosses so many lines in her erotic fiction it amazes me. But she's so good at it you don't notice what she's doing. By the time she does something shocking,you're so involved in the story that it slips right by you. LOL! If you want to read an outstanding erotic romance, check her out. She has a ton of excerpts at her sight.
