I'm working on Stella: March and decided to take a break. The story is coming along well. I've decided to go a little kinkier with this one. Judging by the e-mails I've been getting, that's what you guys want. Do you guys have an particular fetishes you'd like to see? It's always a thrill for me to read a book that has some secret desire of mine within.
I listened to The Queen of the Damned soundtrack throughout most of my writing of January and some of February and I think that affected the mood of the story. For March, I've been listening to Justin Timberlake's Justified...go figure! I think I'm gonna have to put in something more hardcore when it comes to the "fun" scenes. But I really do love the Justified album, much to my husband's annoyance. LOL! He keeps threatening to take the CD and throw it away. He won't though because he knows I'll just buy a new one. What is it about Justin Timberlake that makes so many men hate him?
One of my sisters (I have five older sisters) keeps telling me I should send her my stories, but I'm very hesitant. Some of my sisters still refer to me as "the baby" so I think it's a safe bet to say they'd be shocked/disturbed to read about Stella being bent over a toilet and whapped to w/in an inch of her life. Maybe when I'm feeling more gutsy I'll send her one, until then...
On a separate note, I hear a lot of writers say what a lonely job writing is, but I've never had that feeling. For me, writing is like visiting friends. I think most, if not all, writers tend to live in two worlds. The real world that happens aroud them, and the one they create. For the author of erotic romance, this can present a lot of interesting situations. I'm constantly (and I mean constantly!!!) plotting stories, creating scenes, and working on dialogue. Everything in my life is fair game and likely to end up in a story. This is why I say erotic romance authors have to be married to people with a lot of self-confidence...if you get my meaning!!! My husband can always tell when I'll use something he does in the bedroom for a story. I guess the expression on my face changes because I'm thinking, "this is good, I can use this." LOL!
Okay, back to work for me. I'm rambling
