It's been long since my last post.
Right now I'm working on Stella's March adventures. I'm so happy for the positive response Stella:January has been receiving. I had my first review from Coffee Time Romance and received 4 Cups!!!! That was very nice. Here's a link:

This quickie read has a heat index to rival the sun and the BDSM action is tantalizing and satisfying as well. I found Stella just like most woman of today: hoping against hope for a man that is decent and treats her well.
This present day story realistically represents the dating scene for what it is. The ending is a huge surprise and not at all what I was expecting, but it stays completely true to the storyline. I know there is another one coming in February and I am anxious to see how this series will pan out, as will others that read this hot little number.

A bit of FYI, I based Stella's three best friends on my three best friends, so of course I have a lot of fun writing about them. Ann, who I based on my friend Amy, was a lot of fun in February. Usually Amy is my critquer, but I'm waiting to send her February until it goes through edits. I think she'll get a kick out of Ann this month.
In personal news, I spent 2 weeks under the weather. When my husband got home, I had a cold. That cold quickly escalated. By the time Thursday was here, I had a fever of 102 degrees and A LOT of phlegm. Friday my fever went to 103.2, and I had even more phlegm. But I discovered something about my husband while I was sick. He has a maternal instinct! On Friday, when my fever was at its highest, he mummified (yes mummified) me in a blanket. He swaddled me so tight I could scarce move. My arms were wrapped, so this presented a problem when the time came to spit my phlegm...I won't go into that though. But my husband was so adorable. He did all of the cooking, all of the cleaning, and all of the grocery shopping. I felt so guilty because he was just in from a 6 week assignment. But he revelled in it! He was so pleased to be able to do all of these things...he even told me I was beautiful when I hadn't brushed my hair in two days!! LOL! I think he was kind of sad when I started getting better.
I'm healthy now, but my car is sick. Yet again, it's in the shop. My transmission is crap. Please, I implore you, DO NOT BUY A FORD TAURUS. I've had nothing but problems with mine. In four years I've replaced my engine, radiator, alternator, master cylinder, transmission...all of this is major work. We don't want to buy a new car because we have all new parts inside the car now! I am glad, though, that the transmission acted up when my husband was home. We have a great mechanic, but he tends to view me as a paranoid female. I tell him something and he doesn't take it seriously. My husband can tell him the same thing and he'll seriously look into it. It's so frustrating.
I'll leave you with a picture of the man who inspired Dev (Cinder) from Stella: January. It's Stuart Townsend who starred in Queen of the Damned. He's a hottie!
